It's difficult to describe how deeply moving being a the @911memorial is. I was 7 at this time and distinctly remember waking up the TV being on (which was never on in the mornings at home growing up). Although I only barely understood the significance at the time, I knew that it shook the world. Seeing the names written really hit home how many innocent lives were lost that day. It was also incredible to be there close to the time of day that it happened too - the whole area bustled with activity, and there is so much close to the site. But reading the stories of how the Community banded together brought so much hope that light shines brightest in darkness.
